sTRUCTURAL ENGINEERING
We have managed the structural design and full coordination of very large projects up to 35 million dollar structures. These structural design projects range from various concrete tilt-up structures, wood framed structures, masonry structures and steel braced frame and moment frame structures, including gravity and lateral analysis, buildings ranging from 10,000 – 400,000 square feet. We have designed standard and pile foundation systems for various building and bridge structures. We have performed forensic investigations of various existing structures including one and two story residential homes and condos, masonry retaining walls, elevated water pipes, steel framed structures and existing concrete tilt-up structures.
FORENSIC INVESTIGATION
Services include a full investigation of damaged structures, review of existing plans, calculations to determine designed load paths and current load paths based on errors or omissions in the structure and the cause of damage. We provide full detailed reports of the issues found and the causes along with full repair plans with multiple repair options to suit the client's needs. We utilize the most current 3-D modeling and design software to provide clear and precise explanations of the cause of the issues and the solutions. For litigation cases we finalize the investigation with licensed California Structural Engineering expert witness testimony in court.
3-D COMPUTER MODELING
To keep costs low, a full utilization of advanced 3D modeling software is used to provide the most complete and accurate designs along with digitally signed drawings to ensure easy transfer of files to the client.
